SDVoE Alliance to Highlight AV Applications for Healthcare at InfoComm 2025
The SDVoE Alliance will feature demonstrations from Advantech and Broadata Communications at InfoComm 2025 to show how its technology can support audiovisual applications in healthcare environments.
The demonstrations are part of the alliance’s Power of 10 initiative and will focus on scenarios where zero latency and image accuracy are critical.
Advantech will present a medical AI application showing how visual cues can assist during surgery. The demonstration will emphasize the need for uncompressed, real-time video delivery, citing potential consequences of image delay or artifacts during procedures.
Broadata will simulate a networked operating room with live camera feeds and medical monitors. Attendees will be able to participate in a simulated endoscopic surgery. The demonstration will include multiview displays and switching features intended to reflect the technical demands of surgical environments.
“We are excited to partner with Advantech and Broadata to showcase SDVoE technology and its ability to support healthcare audiovisual systems with solutions that deliver unmatched speed and reliability,” said Stephane Tremblay, president of the SDVoE Alliance.
The SDVoE Alliance is a nonprofit consortium promoting the use of Ethernet to transport AV signals. The group supports open standards and offers educational resources through its SDVoE Academy.
SDVoE will be exhibiting at booth 3768 at InfoComm 2025, held June 11–13 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
