PPDS appoints AV sales specialist Emily Pirtle to lead growth in Southern U.S.

PPDS has named AV sales veteran and edutech expert Emily Pirtle as its new Regional Sales Manager for Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas, strengthening the company’s presence in key U.S. markets.

Pirtle brings more than 20 years of AV, education and sales experience to the role, including a unique perspective shaped by her early career as a classroom teacher and later in edutech sales. Most recently, she supported more than 45 school districts across Texas and Oklahoma with AV, network and security solutions.

In her new position, Pirtle will manage sales of Philips Professional Displays, including digital signage, interactive and ePaper displays, dvLED, and professional TVs, as well as complementary software such as the Philips Wave cloud management platform. She will also work with integrators, resellers and customers to identify new opportunities in retail, education, corporate and hospitality sectors.
