Philips to Re-Enter DS Market at ISE 2012
Philips’ new E-Line series, aimed at the “upper entry level signage market,” is Philips’ first dedicated digital signage displays with optical IR multi-touch and OPS slots. The sizes range from 32”, 42”, 46” to 55” and are equipped with an OPS slot for the simple integration of an OPS module, the industry standard interface being adopted within the DS market for media players on a card.
Specific specs are not available yet as ISE, the show the displays are being launched at, is still two weeks away, but the big news here is really that Philips is trying to break into the DS market again.
