Grass Valley and Ross Video jointly announced that Grass Valley’s Maverik X Production Switcher, powered by the AMPP (Agile Media Processing Platform) operating system, is now directly controllable via Ross Video’s OverDrive automated production control system.

The integration enhances operational flexibility by enabling seamless interoperability between two leading studio production technologies. With OverDrive now supporting the Maverik X, broadcasters can benefit from more open and adaptable workflows that align with their specific production needs.

Ross Video continues to expand OverDrive’s compatibility with a wide range of third-party devices, allowing customers to deploy their preferred production tools. This collaboration with Grass Valley marks a significant step toward broader system interoperability.

Both companies plan to extend OverDrive control to additional AMPP-powered solutions in the future, reinforcing their commitment to providing broadcasters with efficient, flexible, and innovative live production capabilities.
