OpenAV Cloud Adds Adobe, Appspace, Sharp and Bose Professional as New Members
OpenAV Cloud has expanded its coalition with the addition of industry players including Adobe, Appspace, Sharp and Bose Professional. The initiative aims to build an open, interoperable and customer-first AV ecosystem spanning the entire value chain — from manufacturers to integrators to end users.
According to the organization, OpenAV Cloud enables deployment of interoperable devices by developing cloud-based APIs and shared frameworks that support secure data access and cross-brand compatibility. Its goal is to facilitate collaboration across brands while offering maximum flexibility for integrators and technology managers.
Ahead of and during InfoComm 2025, OpenAV Cloud added roughly two dozen new contributing members. These include Adobe, Appspace, AtlasIED, Avocor, Bluesound Professional, Bose Professional, ClearOne, all connected Legrand AV brands (including C2G, Da-Lite, Luxul, Middle Atlantic, Vantage and Vaddio), NetSpeek, Ochno, Planar, PointGrab, Sharp, Symetrix, TekVox and Yamaha.
Participating companies in the OpenAV Cloud initiative have committed to:
- Meeting customer demand for flexible, interoperable solutions
- Building and maintaining open, read-write cloud APIs
- Collaborating on industry-wide standards and best practices
- Upholding secure, customer-controlled data access
- Promoting inclusive, cross-brand collaboration
