Motion Mapping Opens New Experience Center at London’s Business Design Center

Motion Mapping announced the official opening of their new project, the Experience Center on Dec. 9 at the Business Design Center in Islington, U.K. The opening follows Motion Mapping’s success at their Ipswich showroom which encouraged the company to move into a larger, more dynamic space. The center features exciting new demonstrations and experiences of next-generation projection and signage technologies.
The goal of the center is to integrate digital display technology, storytelling and interactive design in an adaptive space. The experience is powered by 27 Epson 3LCD high-brightness projectors, and offers immersive experiences upon arrival.
The tour begins with a personalized, welcoming projection that introduces viewers to the seemingly endless possibilities of the space, followed by a series of interactive demonstrations made possible by LiDar touch glass, switchable windows and new installations seasonally. LightScene and EB-L255F digital signage projectors deliver clear displays that transport the viewer. The walk-through concludes at a meeting lounge that is open to creativity and can be used for meetings and product showcases.
The Business Design Center allows for a more dynamic and adaptive space where a large array of agencies and clients can meet as well as experience the possibility of the technology and engage in imaginative productions.
“More than a demonstration, the Experience Center is a living lab of projection possibilities,” Stuart Harris, Creative Director and Founder, said. “It’s designed to ignite imagination, spark bold brand activations, and unlock new creative potential.”
