Meyer Sound has introduced ASTRYA, a new flagship self-powered cinema screen channel loudspeaker series designed to deliver reference-quality sound with built-in DSP technology for precise audio reproduction.

Leveraging research from Meyer Sound’s Bluehorn technology, ASTRYA offers predictable and extremely linear phase response, ensuring ultra-precise time alignment. Its high driver density and concentric mid-high driver design provide optimal clarity and coverage within a compact footprint, maintaining consistent behavior across the full frequency range of 30Hz to 20kHz.

The first model in the series, the ASTRYA-140, is engineered for reference-level sonic performance, free from power compression and distortion, and designed for rooms up to 140 feet from the screen to the back wall. Featuring a digital input, it eliminates an unnecessary digital-to-analog conversion stage, reducing the noise floor and preserving audio integrity.
