Lightware to Highlight USB-C and AV-over-IP Solutions at InfoComm 2025
Lightware will showcase its latest USB-C and AV-over-IP technologies at InfoComm 2025, with 15 live demos planned inside the company’s largest-ever booth. The exhibit will focus on real-world meeting room and corporate AV applications, including new additions to its Taurus product line and Gemini and UBEX AV-over-IP platforms.
The show runs June 11-13 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, with Lightware located at booth C3909.
Among the featured technologies is the Taurus UCX-1×1-C40 Smart Dock, a professional docking station offering room automation, monitoring, and cross-platform compatibility with Windows, iOS, and Android. Also on display will be a new rack-mount version of the Taurus TPX transmitter, featuring back-panel connectivity, an internal power supply, and PoE support. The device extends video, audio, and control signals in one direction and USB 2.0 in the other over distances up to 100 meters.
Lightware will also demonstrate the Taurus UCX-4×3-HCM40, which supports the world’s first dual-screen extended desktop over USB-C. It offers 100W charging, USB3 compatibility, and 4K60 resolution, including support for Mac M1, M2, and M3 systems.
The Taurus TPN line will be presented as a solution for USB-C and AV-over-IP integration using SDVoE technology over 10G Ethernet, enabling USB extension and host switching in flexible enterprise environments.
Other demos include:
- Gemini GVN, a 1G AV-over-IP matrix with 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 video, seamless switching, and USB routing.
- UBEX, Lightware’s 10G AV-over-IP solution for redundant, uncompressed 4K60 multistreaming.
The booth will also highlight Lightware’s compatibility with third-party platforms such as Cisco, Microsoft Teams Room, Poly, Barco, and Sennheiser.
In advance of the show, Lightware will host an InfoComm 2025 preview webinar on June 3 at 1 p.m. EST. Registration and additional details about the company’s InfoComm presence are available at infocomm.lightware.com.
