Legrand | AV Opens New Sustainable Headquarters in Minnetonka
Legrand | AV celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters in Minnetonka, Minnesota, on Oct. 1, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth and commitment to innovation, collaboration and community. The new 98,000-square-foot facility at 10900 Red Circle Drive consolidates multiple administrative and product development functions into one space designed to foster creativity and efficiency.
The building incorporates Legrand’s own lighting, AV and infrastructure systems throughout, highlighting the company’s technology in real-world use. Nearly all existing furniture was reused or sourced from high-quality pre-owned inventory, significantly reducing waste and the need for new materials. Energy-efficient lighting and motion sensors help lower the facility’s overall energy consumption, reinforcing Legrand | AV’s goal to operate responsibly and minimize environmental impact.
“This new headquarters reflects our vision for the future,” said Brian DiBella, president and CEO of Legrand, North and Central America. “It was designed as a place where our teams can thrive and collaborate, our culture can grow, and our long-term strategy can take root. We are investing in people, innovation, and partnerships that will help us scale sustainably and deliver meaningful impact for our customers and communities.”
Pam Hoppel, president of Legrand | AV, emphasized the building’s people-focused design and the value of uniting key teams under one roof. “This beautiful space was built with people in mind,” Hoppel said. “The thoughtful design will encourage collaboration, spark innovation, and nurture connection — a place where ideas can flourish. By uniting our teams under one roof, we are creating the foundation to grow with purpose together.”
The grand opening ceremony included remarks from DiBella and Hoppel, along with local officials and community partners. A Burr Oak tree dedication symbolized the company’s commitment to its U.S. roots and sustainable growth strategy.
In conjunction with Legrand’s Better Communities program, employees and guests partnered with the ICA Food Shelf and Project Linus to assemble food bags for local students and blankets for children in need. Legrand also made a donation to ICA to support its mission of serving regional families.
The event concluded with tours of the facility and product demonstrations highlighting Legrand’s innovations across lighting, AV and infrastructure solutions.
