LAIA Debuts Three New PTZ Camera Lines for UCC, ED, HOW, Live Events and Production
LAIA Technologies announced the launch of three major PTZ camera lines. The line-up now includes new models; all are AI-enabled cameras; the C-Pro, Broadcaster, and Broadcaster Pro.
The LAIA C-Pro camera line includes 4K AI models, with AI-based tracking of the speaker/presenter and 12X optical zoom. It’s a solution for conferences in medium and large rooms.
The Broadcaster line also includes AI but is designed for large videoconferencing rooms needing a camera that’s 4K/30fps. It’s an NDI (HX-2) licensed PTZ camera that can also be used in live broadcast and includes 12X hybrid zoom.
The Broadcaster Pro cameras are aimed at AV broadcast facilities, higher education, TV production rooms, auditoriums, houses of worship, courtrooms and sports arenas. All cameras in Laia’s Broadcaster Pro family incorporate a 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor offering 4K resolution at 60 fps and 25x optical zoom. Connectivity features multiple interfaces such as HDMI, DUAL 12G-SDI / 3G-SDI, USB 3.0 and LAN. The Broadcaster Pro range includes NDI(HX3) or Dante AV licenses depending on the model.
Key to LAIA’s camera offerings is its AICC (AI Cam Control) software that allows for speaker tracking, multi-image layout control, and integrating logos on outputs.
