Integrated Systems Events has introduced Spark, a new four-day program debuting within ISE 2026 that aims to bring together creative and technology professionals across multiple sectors. Running Feb. 3–6 at Fira de Barcelona, Spark is designed to serve as a hub for broadcast, media and entertainment, live events, gaming and design communities seeking to collaborate on emerging production workflows and creative technologies.

Spark blends hands-on labs, immersive environments, thought-leadership sessions and networking opportunities. Organizers say the event will focus on helping attendees explore new tools, approaches and ideas spanning immersive storytelling, AI, convergence, cultural intelligence and collaborative design.

“Spark connects the brightest minds in creativity and technology to push beyond, stimulate new ideas, and redefine what’s possible,” said Mike Blackman, managing director of Integrated Systems Events. “With boundaries between creative disciplines fading, Spark highlights how broadcast is merging with gaming, and design integrates with live events, offering a firsthand look at the future of cross-industry collaboration. By combining the seamless connectivity of creative technology with the immersive energy of live events, Spark is more than a showcase, it’s a blueprint for the future of creative innovation.”

Spark will be structured around four tracks: Broadcast, Live Events, Gaming, and Marketing & Design. The program encourages cross-learning through live demos, installations, workshops, keynotes, panels and discussions exploring how technologies such as immersive LED, spatial audio, AI-enhanced workflows and interactive storytelling are shaping modern creative production.

Organizers describe Spark as the start of a broader initiative to align ISE’s technology focus with a wider creative ecosystem. The 2026 launch is intended to serve as the foundation for a standalone event in the future, aimed at helping creative teams access new tools, build professional networks and advance their work.
