Integrated Systems Events (ISE) has announced a new strategic partnership with EduTech Cluster and Fira de Barcelona to co-host the 12th edition of EdTech Congress Barcelona, taking place Feb. 4–5, 2026, at the Palau de Congressos in Barcelona. The two-day event will run alongside ISE 2026 and continue its mission to explore how technology can transform learning environments and educational outcomes.

Building on the success of previous editions, the 2026 congress aims to enhance its international profile, providing a platform where educators, innovators, and technology providers can connect and collaborate. The event will feature a comprehensive content program focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in education, with sessions and exhibits designed to demonstrate how technology can empower teachers, engage students, and close learning gaps.

Ramon Eixarch, president of EduTech Cluster, described the partnership as “a milestone for the European EdTech ecosystem.” He said, “By joining forces with ISE and Fira de Barcelona, we are creating a global platform where educational leaders, innovators, and technology providers can come together to shape meaningful, scalable solutions. Our focus on AI for the 2026 edition reflects our belief that technology, when used with purpose, can empower teachers, engage students, and close learning gaps worldwide.”

Constantí Serrallonga, general manager of Fira de Barcelona, added, “At Fira de Barcelona we are excited to take this project forward as it aligns with our core values of promoting innovation in fields with a high impact potential. What’s more, we consider it a privilege to act as a bridge between two professional sectors, audiovisual and education, so that, together with the latest technology, we can drive changes that take society forward.”

For ISE, the collaboration reinforces its commitment to Barcelona and its growing investment in the education market. ISE Managing Director Mike Blackman noted that the partnership underscores ISE’s focus on advancing innovation and thought leadership at the intersection of education and technology. “By co-hosting the event, we aim to introduce attendees to forward-thinking concepts and transformative products that can enrich learning environments,” he said. “Together, we are creating a platform that pushes the boundaries of 21st-century learning and inspires the design of the classrooms of tomorrow.”

Following its 2025 success, which drew 52 exhibitors and 1,643 attendees, EdTech Congress Barcelona 2026 will continue to spotlight the integration of audiovisual technology within education. The collaboration will also complement ISE’s own educational initiatives, including the Connected Classroom — an immersive edtech showcase powered by Logitech, returning for ISE 2026 after its debut earlier this year.

Visitor registration for EdTech Congress Barcelona 2026 is now open at Fira Barcelona’s official registration site.
