ihiji Ships Network Appliance for IP Monitoring and Control
ihiji, known for its cloud-based remote monitoring system, has started shipping the INV-APP-500 — a remote monitoring hardware “appliance” that’s designed to allow dealers to help homeowners reduce remote servicing costs by enabling remote power management via the cloud for existing IP-based power products. It lists for $200 and simply is placed in line with the power connector, providing both an Ethernet and USB jack for control.
