Humly Enters New Phase of Sensor Integration for the Workplace Experience
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 20, 2025 – Humly, a workplace experience company with more than a decade of innovation for modernizing business environments, has set the stage for a multi-phase initiative that will accentuate the power of smart sensor integration within Humly’s workplace platform. The company’s second phase of the journey begins with the launch of Humly Sense at InfoComm next month, where Humly will demonstrate its first third-party applications triggered directly within the Humly ecosystem.
Humly Sense is a software sensing gateway built into Humly Control Panel that establishes an open API channel of communication between other open devices. Humly Sense can receive and process data from any open device upon triggering its API, empowering new automated features in Humly products that help organizations build smarter, healthier and more efficient workspaces.
Visitors to Humly’s InfoComm booth (4981) can see working demonstrations of Humly Sense enabling real-time presentations of occupancy tracking and environmental monitoring information. Those readings populate on the backlit LED displays of Humly Booking Device and Humly Room Display, the company’s two award-winning premium hardware products, and dynamically update as conditions change.
Humly stepped into sensor development and integration with the launch of Humly Booking Device in 2023. Humly Sense evolves the vision by establishing connections to third-party sensors and bringing them into the Humly Workplace Platform. Humly will continue to leverage Humly Sense as a vehicle to bring new features and functionality to their current and future hardware products. Future plans include enriching its capabilities as a data gathering and analytics resource to improve and optimize workplace intelligence
“The ability to capture and pull data from a variety of systems, sources and locations through a building or campus empowers facility managers and other personnel to take decisive or corrective action through detailed analytics,” said Anders Karlsson, CEO, Humly. “The result is an open cloud ecosystem with Humly Sense acting as the core aggregator for all connected sources. That intelligence to changing conditions, and fuels decisions that improves comfort levels and brings harmony to the business and learning environment.”
InfoComm takes place June 11-13 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
