FOR-A America to Highlight On-Device AI and Software-Based Production Tools at NAB Show New York

FOR-A IMPULSE graph editor
FOR-A America will showcase a range of new and award-winning technologies at the NAB Show New York, underscoring its commitment to the U.S. broadcast market and its theme, “Connecting the Present, Building the Future.”
The company will present three key solutions during the Oct. 22–23 event at the Javits Center: the viztrick AiDi on-device AI solution (developed in collaboration with Nippon TV), the FOR-A IMPULSE software-defined live production platform, and the HVS-190 1 M/E video switcher series with NDI connectivity.
“Broadcasting is evolving fast, and ‘Connecting the present, building the future’ means giving our partners the confidence to embrace that evolution,” said Satoshi Kanemura, president and COO of FOR-A America. “FOR-A IMPULSE, viztrick AiDi, and the HVS-190 series are proof that we’re ready to lead the way.”
The FOR-A IMPULSE (Integrated Media Platform with UnLimited StructurE) recently earned TV Tech’s Best of Show award at NAB Show 2025 and another at BIRTV 2025. The system combines multiple broadcast functions—including switching, graphics, signal processing, and playback—into a single software-based platform. Designed for flexible, browser-based remote operation, it allows users to build production pipelines using a visual graph editor, eliminating many traditional hardware constraints.

Also featured is the viztrick AiDi on-device AI system, which provides facial and object recognition, player tracking, and real-time graphic overlays for sports production. The solution operates without an internet connection, allowing broadcasters to process and visualize live data with low latency—ideal for outdoor and remote production.
“viztrick AiDi represents a fundamental shift in how AI can enhance sports broadcasting,” Kanemura said. “By operating entirely on-device without internet dependency, it provides broadcast-grade reliability while delivering intelligent automation that empowers creative teams to focus on storytelling rather than routine tasks.”
Both viztrick AiDi and FOR-A IMPULSE will be available for appointment-only demos during the show. The HVS-190 1 M/E video switcher series will be on display in the MarkerTek booth (#652). The HVS-190 supports NDI high-bandwidth and NDI HX2 formats alongside standard 3G/HD-SDI and HDMI interfaces. Built-in features include frame synchronization, macro functionality, and FOR-A’s FLEXaKEY technology, which turns an AUX bus into a mix effects engine with transitions, keys, and DVE previews.
