Doteck Integrates intoPIX JPEG XS to Enable High-Performance ST 2110 8K and 4K Encoding
Doteck has integrated intoPIX’s JPEG XS compression technology into its latest R8 and R4 Series ST 2110 encoder solutions, enabling ultra-low latency and high-resolution encoding for professional broadcast workflows.
The JPEG XS codec is now embedded in Doteck’s R8 Series, a 1U encoder designed for ST 2110 IP extension of 4x 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, or 3G/HD/SD-SDI video signals. Supporting up to 8K resolution, the R8 Series delivers visually lossless quality with minimal latency, making it suitable for live production environments.
Doteck’s R4 Series, also incorporating intoPIX JPEG XS, supports flexible encoding and transcoding of video signals up to 4K UHD, with compatibility across multiple SDI formats.
