DELTACAST Now Shipping Compact Half-Length, Low-Profile SDI Card
DELTACAST is shipping its DELTA-12G-elp 4C, a compact, half-length, and low-profile form-factor SDI card that comes with a PCIe Gen-3 x8 electrical interface. It features four 12G-SDI bidirectional inputs/outputs, which can be used individually to capture or play out video up to 4K60. Alternatively, they can combine to capture or play out 8K60 video using square division or two-sample interleave.
The DELTA-12G-elp 4C is designed for high-performance video applications and offers hardware features that enable it to handle uncompressed video formats. These features include CPU off-loading, advanced packings, proxy scalers, HDR formats support, application buffers, SDI signal error diagnostics, and audio and metadata extraction and embedding.
Besides the traditional YCbCr pixel format used in TV broadcasting, the DELTA-12G-elp 4C also supports RGB 4:4:4 formats in 10 and 12 bits, appreciated by the cinema industry for HDR production. And, the output is on BNC connectors — so rental companies will appreciate the secure port.
