Crestron Ships 32×32 DM Matrix
Last month, Crestron started shipping the DM-MD32X32, a matrix switcher designed for facility-wide and whole-house distribution. Crestron says, just like the DM-MD8X8 and DM-MD16X16 – the DM-MD32x32 is field-configurable and cardcage-based, including cards for VGA, HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, 3G-SDI, Ethernet and USB keyboard/mouse control. According to Crestron, video transmission can run hundreds of feet over a single twisted pair cable or up to 1,000 feet via fiber.
