CatCore Debuts Extensive XLR over CAT Adapter Systems
The German manufacturer CatCore just debuted a line of XLR/CAT adapters in the form of stageboxes, cable splits and rack units. The systems – in which four signals can be collected as micro-multicore – are designed for a variety of applications including creating audio subcores, DMX from the FOH to the stage or from the dimmer city to the traverses in order to ensure structured DMX cabling.
CatCore says they are responding to event technology developments, where network cables are now indispensible. The cables are not only for network protocols but also for the transmission of DMX, intercom, analog and digital audio formats – often across significantly longer cable distances than “real” network.
Here are all the details on the line.
