BOXLIGHT Intros Wireless Projectors

boxlight-wireless-0213BOXLIGHT is introducing a new wireless, non-interactive projector line, the Boston Series, which is an upgrade to the company’s Seattle Series.

The Boston Series features PC-less presentations through the addition of a USB input, allowing for 1.5G of internal storage and the display of Office docs, video, audio and image files.

With EZ Wi-Fi LAN software, (a free download) you can use a USB to mini-USB cable, or the LAN connection of the projector and your network, to display content from your computer via streaming it from the network.

The EZ Display App enables users to send images, see web pages or view the camera live from mobile devices, and includes annotation features for real-time interaction. With an optional Wi-Fi USB display adapter (dongle), connectivity increases to include projection of up to four devices at one time, including a PC or Mac. The initial release includes three versions:

  • Boston WX27NST – a 2,700 lumen, WXGA, short throw, wireless projector
  • Boston X28NST – a 2,800 lumen, XGA, short throw, wireless projector
  • Boston X30N – a 3,000 lumen, XGA, standard throw, wireless projector

The Boston Series ships standard with a side-changing lamp and filter for easy access and a contrast ratio to 3,000:1. Multiple anti-theft features come standard. The projector has seven different display modes, logo capture and image freeze, along with an on-board 10 watt speaker for bringing quality audio to presentations. In addition, the Boston qualifies for BOXLIGHT’s “Lamps for Life” lamp warranty program and is TAA compliant.
