Bose Professional has opened its new global headquarters in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, a 50,200-square-foot facility that houses office space, engineering labs, a corporate museum, and an immersive Experience Center. The project included architectural design by OTJ Architecture, construction by J. Calnan & Associates, and acoustic consulting from Acentech.

The facility consolidates Bose Professional’s corporate functions following its separation from Bose Corporation and reflects the company’s focus on independent growth. “As a global company, this headquarters is now home to us all,” said CEO John Maier. “It’s a place where we can focus, innovate and grow.”

A key feature of the building is a curated museum showcasing vintage and current Bose Professional products. “It reminds us of where we came from as we author the next chapter of a company with such a storied history,” said Adam Castillo, vice president of global marketing.

Adjacent to the museum, the 5,600-square-foot Experience Center demonstrates the company’s current solutions in an acoustically treated space designed for training and product demonstrations. “This space is specifically designed around our customers’ listening experience,” said Adam Shulman, director of audio systems design. The installation includes 4 miles of speaker and data cable, 1,000 feet of metal conduit, 8,000 square feet of acoustic treatments, and 70,000 watts of system power.

The building also includes engineering labs for testing, quality assurance, fabrication, and acoustic measurement—including the Klippel Lab, an isolated test chamber designed for precise acoustic testing. “These labs are where we transform our passion for engineering into the innovative products of the future,” said Kenn LeGault, vice president of engineering.

The facility supports multiple departments with a mix of desk spaces, collaborative work areas and private conference rooms.
