Bond Debuts Outdoor 15-Channel Remote for All Sorts of Things; and Awnings and Shades

Bond announced the launch of Mate Pro, a universal 15-channel hand-held remote control for multiple motorized pergola, awning, shutter, and screen brands. Outdoor residential and commercial living spaces often include some variety of pergolas, shutters, awnings, and screens – each from a different brand with different motors and remotes that use different proprietary RF control protocol, making consolidated or even smart control of all these devices impossible. Mate Pro solves this.
With Mate Pro devices can be operated individually or in groups. Users can set quick-action triggers, schedules, positions (favorites), and assign custom channel names. And getting started is easy. After connecting the smartphone or tablet to Mate Pro via Bluetooth, a guided DIY setup within the Bond App takes the user through configuration. Once complete, the remote is now smart, aware of time, and able to set adaptive schedules.
Mate Pro is attractive, solidly built, and powerful. Ergonomically designed, it fits nicely in the hand, exuding a quality, weighty feel. Featured is a 169-dot matrix LED display that makes for comfortable viewing day and night. The remote boasts an impressive 200-feet transmission range (contingent on the property), communicating with devices via radio frequency (RF). And because Mate Pro is water resistant it can be left outdoors without worry.
Mate Pro works with leading shade motor brands including Somfy, Rollease Acmeda, Gaposa, Nice, MagnaTrack, Azenco, Forest Drapery, Dooya, AMP and others. The remote does not require a bridge – once setup is complete via the App, it manages operation of all the connected devices directly.
If integrated with the Bond Bridge Pro RF-to-WiFi hub, Mate Pro can communicate state feedback and trigger scenes. This allows for control of different devices at once, for example raising blackouts and lowering insect screens with just one button press.
