PHOENIX — June 14, 2023 — Blackwire Designs, a leading distributor in the custom installation market, recently announced the release of two new Control4 drivers that provide an easy-to-use interface for Just Add Power and AVPro systems that use video walls or tilers. The drivers integrate natively into the Control4 UI on both T4 touch screens and mobile devices, allowing an end user to take control of these complex systems with an easy-to-use, visually appealing interface.

“Currently dealers need to use custom programming and send custom commands to the video system to be able to control these types of systems. Unfortunately, interfaces for these types of configurations come with clunky workarounds that differ based on how the installer chooses to complete the system, forcing end users to switch through rooms or use custom buttons to perform basic operations,” said Kevin Luther, owner of Blackwire Designs. “By using our interface drivers, a dealer can pair Control4 with major brands like Just Add Power and AVPro out of the box. Both the Blackwire Tiler UI Driver for Control4 and Video Wall UI Driver for Control4 are expected to ship in late Q3 of 2023 at an MSRP of $1,500. Depending on the system, dealers may need additional specialized equipment offered by Just Add Power or AVPro which can be purchased at Blackwire.
