Auburn Adds New North End Zone LED Display at Jordan-Hare Stadium
Auburn University is expanding the game-day experience at Jordan-Hare Stadium with a new LED video display in the north end zone, designed and installed by Daktronics of Brookings, South Dakota. The display is set to be operational for the upcoming 2025 football season.
The north end zone display will mirror the functionality of the existing south end zone screen, which has held the title of the largest video display in college football since 2015. Measuring 45.5 feet high by 155.5 feet wide, the new screen will feature 10-millimeter pixel spacing and variable content zoning, allowing it to present live video, game stats, graphics and other real-time content with high-resolution clarity.
“We are pleased to again partner with Daktronics to further enhance college football’s preeminent game-day experience,” said Rhett Hobart, Auburn’s deputy athletic director for external affairs. “This new display will elevate the production value at Jordan-Hare Stadium, making Auburn’s award-winning video and graphics content accessible to more fans, including the Auburn student body.”
The upgraded system includes integration with Daktronics’ Show Control platform, combining display software, video processing, data integration and playback tools. The control system is designed to provide a unified, user-friendly interface for stadium production teams.
Daktronics has a long-standing relationship with Auburn University, having previously installed the south end zone display, as well as LED systems at the Woltosz Performance Center, Neville Arena, Plainsman Park and the Auburn Soccer Complex.
