Video collaboration solutions provider Neat has joined the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), an Android-based platform designed to improve security, manageability and accessibility for intelligent workspaces.

Participation in MDEP enables Neat to standardize device management and provide customers with more secure, scalable meeting solutions across a range of environments, from huddle rooms to large conference spaces. Features include simplified deployment, remote management and seamless updates across devices.

“Neat’s participation underscores our shared commitment to empowering users with superior video experiences,” said Juha Kuosmanen, head of MDEP at Microsoft. “The platform provides integrated security protocols, reduces deployment complexity, and allows for seamless pairing across devices.”

Tormod Ree, chief product and engineering officer at Neat, added: “Joining MDEP is a significant opportunity to deepen our collaboration with Microsoft and expand the reach of our solutions while maintaining rigorous standards for performance and security.”

Neat said the move represents an expansion of its long-standing partnership with Microsoft, aligning its hardware and Neat Pulse management platform with the MDEP ecosystem.
