SCT micro(C)eries Are Modular USB-C Solutions
Sound Control Technologies (SCT) announced the micro(C)eries family of modular USB-C solutions that bridge legacy AV systems and modern USB-C devices. The lineup includes the USB-PDI, USB-PDC and USB-AMV, offering flexible USB-C solutions that add DisplayPort Alt Mode, Power Delivery (PD) and USB extension.
The micro(C)eries delivers seven modular options:
- DP Alt Mode with PD
- DP Alt Mode with PD + USB 2.0 extension
- PD (standalone)
- PD with USB 3.2 extension
- Merge HDMI + USB into a single USB-C DP Alt Mode connection
- Merge HDMI + USB into a single USB-C DP Alt Mode connection with USB 2.0 extension
- End-to-end DP Alt Mode support with PD
The micro(C)eries supports everything from simple tabletop upgrades to end-to-end room connectivity. With these options, customers can connect laptops, video bars, codecs, PTZ cameras and room peripherals with predictable results – without custom programming or trial-and-error.
