Here’s How the Ryder Cup Used GoVision LEDs
Organizers of the 2025 Ryder Cup are going all out to ensure every spectator has a larger-than-life view of the action throughout the historic Bethpage Black Course. And for the fourth consecutive time on U.S. soil, GoVision LLC was chosen to make sure the job is done beyond expectations and without a hitch.
But this year is different. A lot different.
GoVision is blanketing the Ryder Cup course with 27 LED boards of various sizes, sporting more pixels than the exterior of the Vegas Sphere or all the video boards in New York’s Times Square. In addition, GoVision’s crew of 30 on-site technicians will be managing more processing power than Mission Control at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, 39 Boeing 787 Dreamliners or 35 CT scan machines.
“This year’s Ryder Cup is a monumental undertaking – a game-changing event for GoVision and for the sporting industry overall,” said GoVision Founder & Chairman Chris Curtis. “It’s a record-setting collection of video displays for us, and the largest temporary LED deployment in North American history ever. We can’t wait for the world to see it!”
GoVision’s 27 LED displays will feature 24,308 sq.ft. of video power, with nearly 153 million total pixels. The cutting-edge panels filled 53-foot 12 semi-trailers.
“GoVision has been delivering exceptional video coverage at our Championships dating back to the 2010 PGA Championship,” said Brandon Haney, Director of Championships, PGA of America. “Over the years, we’ve expanded their role to enhance the spectator experience, and this year’s Ryder Cup showcases the pinnacle of our collaboration. Ryder Cup guests are set to enjoy an unparalleled visual experience.”

GoVision is also controlling 10 additional screens on-site as part of the overall production.
“This year’s Ryder Cup is an incredibly complex operation, with so many screens scattered around the course and throughout the VIP and hospitality areas,” said Kevin Faciane, GoVision CEO. “With only four playing groups at a time on the course, it can be a real challenge for spectators to follow the action. In addition, each screen needs to be produced like its own show so we don’t distract the players or the crowd by showing highlights at the wrong time in the wrong place.”
The GoVision crew worked side-by-side with PGA of America officials to ensure that every massive video board is seamlessly integrated within the natural beauty of Bethpage Black. Spectators not only want live video and replays of the action, but they expect real-time scoring updates and other key data. The technology of each board is precisely calibrated for optimal viewing, both on-course and in the hospitality areas.
GoVision has been the LED video screen provider of record for multiple PGA tournaments, the PGA of America and LPGA for nearly 20 years. The Argyle, Texas-based provider of large-scale LED video displays will be on-site at 60 stops along the 2025 PGA, LPGA, Champions and Amateur tours, highlighted by AT&T Pebble Beach, Insperity Invitational, CJ Cup Byron Nelson, PGA Championship, Charles Schwab Challenge, Senior PGA Championship, 3M Open, BMW Championship, Junior Invitational and the Walker Cup.
