Extron Adds DisplayPort Fiber Optic Extenders to FOX3 Line
Extron has expanded its FOX3 fiber optic platform with the introduction of two new DisplayPort fiber optic extenders, the FOX3 T 211 and FOX3 SR 211.
The units provide long-haul transmission of DisplayPort video, stereo audio, control, IR, and 3D sync signals over fiber optic cabling. Engineered for AV applications that require uncompromised image quality, both extenders deliver mathematically lossless 4K/60 at 4:4:4 resolution over a single fiber.
The FOX3 T 211 and FOX3 SR 211 include integrator-friendly features such as Extron’s EDID Minder, audio embedding and de-embedding, Ethernet monitoring and control, audio gain and attenuation and real-time system monitoring.
Extron says the extenders are designed to support a wide range of professional AV environments requiring reliable, high-performance fiber transmission.
