Kwikset Halo Smart Locks Integrate With DoorBird App
Kwikset and DoorBird announced that Kwikset’s Halo smart locks can now be controlled through the DoorBird app.
The integration allows residents to unlock Halo locks remotely from within the DoorBird app during a live video call with a visitor. The companies said the solution is designed to improve convenience by removing the need to switch between apps and does not require a hub, operating on the home’s existing Wi-Fi network.
Security features include encrypted communication and authentication protocols. The integration is optimized for low latency to support real-time interactions.
Residents can activate the functionality by linking their Kwikset Halo account within the DoorBird app.
