AVer PTZ231 and PTZ211 Cameras Receive Zoom ProAV Certification
AVer Information announced that its PTZ231 and PTZ211 cameras have been certified under the Zoom ProAV Camera Certification program.
Both models feature native 1080p resolution and AI tracking capabilities. The PTZ231 offers 30x optical zoom, while the PTZ211 includes a 12x optical zoom in a compact design intended for classrooms, huddle rooms and houses of worship.
The certification indicates the cameras meet Zoom’s standards for performance and compatibility in hybrid meeting environments. AVer said the PTZ231 and PTZ211 are designed to support meeting equity by providing consistent video quality across settings.
The cameras include AVer’s SmartShoot and SmartFrame AI functions, which allow automatic switching between preset zones, group framing and presenter tracking. When used with AVer PTZ Link software and supported microphone arrays, the systems enable voice-tracking for hands-free speaker following.
Connectivity options include USB, IP, HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs. The cameras also feature 0.1-degree pan-tilt precision for smooth movement in lectures, worship services and live events.
