From Display to Deployment: Sony’s Top 5 Moments at InfoComm 2025
THIS IS A PROMOTED POST

Every InfoComm, I look forward to the time I get to spend at Sony’s booth. And here’s why: Every year, there’s so much to look at. From the crispest displays to AI-powered PTZ cameras to the ever-popular Spatial Reality Display, I could probably spend a full show day checking out everything Sony has to offer.
However, if you attend InfoComm in the same way I attend InfoComm, you don’t have a full day to spend at one exhibitor’s booth.
Here’s how I’m going to help you: I’ve highlighted five of my favorite showcases from Sony’s InfoComm booth in this article, complete with product demo videos. Don’t worry — if you want to see the full video walkthrough of everything Sony had to offer at this year’s show, just scroll to the bottom of this article and check out the YouTube playlist. 1. BRAVIA Professional Display Conventional vs. Deep Black Non-Glare
Let’s start with some razzle-dazzle. In this video, you see two seeming similar BRAVIA professional displays. Each offers unique advantages suited to different environments. The Deep Black Non-Glare coating stood out here, making it particularly effective under the bright lights of the convention center.
Just as the name suggests, this coating differs from the typical matte finish; Sony’s version actually combines the power of anti-glare and low-reflection tech to dramatically reduce screen glare and reflection — without diminishing image quality. Deep Black Non-Glare coating comes on every BZ40L series and the BZ53L.
2. BRAVIA Professional Display Pre-Installed Solutions
Keeping with the Pro BRAVIA line for now, let’s talk about ease of setup. Built into the Pro BRAVIA displays, integrators can configure them in whichever way fits the space: Normal Mode, Pro Settings Mode or Pro Mode. If you’re in a conference room and want to disable all features and use a control panel, you can do that. In digital signage applications, you can lock down the displays so your CMS works as smoothly as possible.
In addition, there are applications that help day-to-day users, like BRAVIA Meeting, which quickly and easily turns the display into exactly what you need for your conferencing setup.
3. Integrated Conferencing Solution
Speaking of conferencing and collaboration, Sony has some great partnerships to keep meetings running as smoothly as possible. Sony knows now all use cases in the meeting space are the same and they offer different levels of solution depending on your needs. For example, they have a simple on-board Pro BRAVIA solution, partner solution, and a premium offer that can be placed into an executive meeting room with a complete kit. In the video below, you can see an example of the partnership one and how Sony’s displays integrate with Nureva’s HDL410 Pro audio solution (Sony’s SRG cameras are doing some work here too — but more on those later) to make sure everyone in the meeting room is both seen and heard.
4. PTZ Cameras with AI-Powered Auto Framing
I told you we’d come back to the SRG PTZ cameras. At InfoComm, Sony showcased these cameras with the latest version 3.0 firmware update. In the demo below, you’ll see the speaker move, and while in the detection zone, the camera smoothly tracks their movements.
My favorite new feature for these cameras is the tracking range. This allows you to set a detection zone within a space, defining for the camera the region in which it’s allowed to track. When you step out of the zone, it returns to its original position, waiting for a new speaker or for you to step back in.
5. BRAVIA Professional Display Device Provisioning and Device Management
Last, but certainly not least, we’re ending back on the BRAVIA professional displays. But this time, we’re talking to the folks who might be asking, “Great, but how do I scale this?”
First, Sony makes device registration easy. Just scan the QR code on the box using their free Serial Aggregator Tool and create a CSV file. You can then upload that device list and resiger the products in one go, saving you a ton of time during installation. With Device Provisioning Tool, you pick your settings, they’re saved to your profile and in the cloud, and then deployed during display set up.
If you want even more control, Sony’s Device Management Platform includes a dashboard showing each device on your network — giving you full control through the provisioning process and beyond.
