ADI | Snap One has announced the launch of Lux by Control4, a new line of keypads, dimmers and outlets designed for luxury residential and commercial lighting control. The product line, which debuted at Lightapalooza earlier this year, is now available for pre-order.

The Lux collection offers expanded design options, including 19 color choices across three finishes, with metal faceplate options intended to match a variety of interior environments. The devices are available in both wired and wireless configurations.

“With Lux by Control4, we are delivering the elegant lighting solutions our customers have been asking for to continue winning luxury residential and commercial projects,” said Jason Winchester, SVP chief product officer at ADI | Snap One. “This launch represents a major step forward in terms of both aesthetics and functionality, offering our customers a premium option that delivers an exceptional experience, and also stands out with luxury project designers and architects.”

Engineered for Control4’s automation platform, Lux keypads use laser engraving to support detailed icons and text customization. A built-in ambient light sensor adjusts backlighting based on surrounding light conditions, while magnetically attached faceplates allow for tool-free installation and maintenance.

The dimming technology used in the Lux line includes a patent-pending system designed for smoother current and voltage control. It supports lighting loads up to 600 watts, including LED lighting, and aims to provide improved energy efficiency and dimming performance.

Lux products are designed to reduce installation complexity. Features include a single-wire-nut grounding system that simplifies connections, reducing the number of ground wires from four to one.

The Lux by Control4 collection is intended for use in luxury homes, hospitality spaces and other interior environments where architectural integration and advanced lighting control are priorities.

“At ADI | Snap One, we know that delivering efficient, high performing technology that doesn’t compromise on aesthetics is a key concern for integrators, designers, architects, and end-users alike,” added Winchester. “Therefore, as a combined business, we’re committed to continuing to invest in product innovation and design, bringing our robust product pipeline of premium luxury technology to life with new launches planned throughout the rest of this year.”
