June 12, 2024, Anaheim: CA: rp Visual Solutions, RPV, a leader in custom architectural structures for visual displays, announced today a further expansion of the popular Wallmate line of mounting solutions to include the new Wallmate Dual Surface B. Like its predecessor, the Surface, the Dual Surface B is designed for display panel installations surface mount on the wall, but designed to enable two panels to be easily and precisely placed side by side.

Like all Wallmate mounts, the Dual Surface B is designed for clean installation not just of the display, but also additional peripherals devices such as video receivers, signage players, or UC interfaces. The Surface B easily accommodates non-VESA compliant displays, can be used with the new Dual Surface B system. Virtually all 55” – 75” flat panel displays up to 150 lbs (each) can be accommodated.

“The Wallmate Dual Surface is an important addition to the Wallmate line of display mounts. Dual monitors are being used in more and more collaboration rooms and other installations to show full screen content and presenters.” said James Fife, rp Visual Solutions Consultant Extension and originator of Wallmate solutions. “Consultants, building owners, and integrators now have a complete range of on mount and in-wall solutions with Wallmate. Project managers and service leads can expect the same ease of installation, maintenance, and ability to upgrade displays across an entire facility, saving time and money.”

RPV’s high quality standards in form and function continue with the Wallmate Dual Surface B. A single large peripheral mounting plate in the rear compartment is removable, allowing peripheral electronics to be staged assembly line style off site saving time, cost, and risk. Once the mounting structure is on the wall, pre-staged peripheral plates and panels can be quickly and securely pinned in place. The entire system is 2” from the back of the display to the wall, assisting with ADA compliance. The mounting plate for the display panel can be set to swing open to the left or right. The wide swing arc allows easy, open access to internally mounted components.

Like all Wallmate mounts, the Dual Surface B is built entirely of steel to be structurally robust and provide long term reliability. This also ensures that large interactive touch screens can be mounted rigidly without any wobble or bounce. The Dual Surface B is being introduced at the audiovisual industry’s largest annual conference and exhibition, Infocomm, today in Las Vegas.
