3G Productions Acquires Switch Video, Expands National Reach in Film, TV and Live Events
3G Productions LLC has acquired the assets of Switch Video, a video rental services provider for the film/television, corporate/tradeshow, and live event industries. Effective immediately, Switch’s operations in Castaic, California, and Atlanta, Georgia will be rebranded under the 3G name.
The acquisition brings seasoned Switch leadership into 3G’s expanding fold, including Alan Barber, Justin Edgerly, and Shawn Orm, who will lead business development efforts in Los Angeles and Atlanta while spearheading 3G’s push into the film/TV and corporate event markets.
“We are excited to welcome Switch Video to the 3G family,” said Keith Conrad, CEO of 3G Productions. “Their inventory complements our existing production tools, and their team fits naturally into our people-first culture. This move strengthens our position as a national, full-service production company.”
Barber, formerly CEO of Switch Video, echoed the sentiment. “This partnership allows us to expand our services by leveraging 3G’s 360-degree production capabilities—sound, lighting, video, and rigging,” he said. “It’s a win for both our teams and our clients.”
The acquisition enhances 3G’s presence in key U.S. markets and expands its capacity to deliver turnkey solutions across a broader range of production verticals.
