Thanks for launching it right before InfoComm, we are excited to tell you that our all-new rAVe [NEWS] AV news app (available on iTunes for Apple iPhones and iPads and also available on Android for phones and tablets) has already crossed the 5,000 downloads threshold. In less than a month!

We worked hard on on this app and spent months researching what you wanted in a simple, fast AV news app and we actually combined two apps into one with this version — we used to have a separate app for rAVe NOW (our live trade show coverage) and for our daily news and blog postings [NEWS]. But, with the new Swift development platform from Apple, that allowed us to double-up the capability and have both live-news (and everything from trade shows archived, too) as well as our news, blogs, podcasts and even all our videos embedded din the app — so they’re available to you all the time!

But, I am most impressed with the speed of our new app.I hate waiting for stuff to load, so, for me, this was the most important aspect of the new rAVe [NEWS] app. I think you’ll be impressed. Oh, and we added one cool function: the ability to submit a news scoop anonymously!
