Sharp’s New Headquarters: The Ultimate Pro AV Experience

Guests arriving at the main entrance are greeted by an impressive video wall in the reception area. Nine 60″ Class (60″ diagonal) PN-V601 professional LCD displays in a 3×3 configuration give visitors a sense of Sharp’s culture and professionalism.
This area was designed to showcase Sharp’s line of award-winning multifunctional printers (MFPs) through help of Sharp Pro AV equipment. Five PN-R series displays of varying sizes have been mounted to highlight the MFPs’ features.
The centerpiece of the new building, the Atrium, is a three-story, open-air location. It was designed as a destination to spark creativity or simply a place to socialize, have lunch or recharge after a productive day by playing a game. This area contains the headquarters’ pièce de résistance, a video wall comprising a dozen 60″ Class (60″ diagonal) PN-V602 professional LCD displays in a 6×2 configuration. The video showcases Sharp’s latest product innovations. Also in the Atrium are eight PN-L603W wireless AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems lined up along a wall in front of comfortable seating for adhoc meetings, watching TV or playing Xbox video games.

Upstairs from the Atrium is The Boardroom, the most high-tech conference room at the headquarters. On one side of the room are two 70″ Class (69.5″ diagonal) PN-L703W wireless AQUOS BOARD interactive displays. The two displays allow for four meeting attendees to display the images from their mobile devices on a 2×2 split screen configuration on one screen, plus four more people on the other. There is also a 90″ Class (89.9″ diagonal) AQUOS LC-90LE657U LED smart TV on the other side of the room. Additionally, The Boardroom is also equipped with from InFocus and TANDBERG video conferencing systems for optimal communication.
There are numerous other glass-encased conference rooms at the Sharp headquarters. Each are equipped with a PN-L703W wireless interactive display. This enables any employee to host a BYOD (bring your own device) meeting where attendees can show the content of their laptops, tablets and smartphones on the screens for more efficiency and collaboration. All conference rooms, including The Boardroom, have tablet-sized interactive displays outside the rooms for easy room reservation. Each conference room has a unique name and theme (e.g. “The Shore,” “The City,” etc.). Some even have a video conferencing system, such as the Japan-themed “Nara” room.
Various hallways contain digital signage to broadcast general messages to Sharp employees and visitors on a 70″ Class (69.5″ diagonal) PN-E703 professional LED display. A variety of valuable information is displayed throughout the building on the screens including information from the Human Resources department, employee events, recent product announcements/awards and much more.
