Infocomm Day 2
Big day today – trying to see the show while hosting half a dozen podcasts. Great guests today, Gary, Jennifer Willard from WAVE, Jim Smith from Polycom, and this afternoon a group of attendees from “Down Under” at 2:30.
In terms of the show floor, it is packed, much busier than yesterday. Lots of new manufacturers exhibiting – saw a bunch of new European exhibitors and talked to a few about why. Two of the three that I interviewed said they made the decision to do it after exhibiting at ISE, so InfoComm’s current tactic of consolidating all the world’s AV shows under the InfoComm banner seems to be working.
Will be seeing the new staging pavilion this afternoon, and will send you more news from there.
