tvONE Opens Pixel Academy Training Center in the UK
tvONE has launched Pixel Academy, a new training center aimed at advancing professional skills in audiovisual technology. The academy offers hands-on instruction in signal processing, video distribution and multi-windowing solutions, with the goal of supporting the next generation of AV professionals.
Located at tvONE’s R&D Innovation Centre in Maidenhead, about 20 minutes from London Heathrow Airport, Pixel Academy is designed to serve AV professionals across the U.K. and Europe. The space is equipped with the company’s latest video processors, including the CALICO PRO and CORIOmaster2, alongside traditional and creative-format LED displays.
The inaugural course at the academy is scheduled for Sept. 17 and will focus on CALICO PRO video processing. The one-day course is tailored for system designers, integrators and AV consultants, and will include real-world scenarios and deep technical dives into tvONE’s processing capabilities.
In addition to its training program, Pixel Academy is working toward AVIXA CTS RU accreditation, which would allow attendees to earn renewal units for industry certification. The training center was developed in partnership with Vanguard LED Displays and B-Tech AV Mounts, which provided display and mounting solutions for the facility.
With the launch of Pixel Academy, tvONE says it aims to provide AV professionals with the tools and expertise needed to lead in immersive media and digital storytelling.
