Trinnov Audio announced a significant software update for its Altitude line of audio processors, featuring a redesigned user interface and updated implementations of Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro and Auro-3D. The update continues Trinnov’s software-first philosophy and commitment to long-term product support.

The free update preserves core features such as the Trinnov Optimizer, WaveForming and Remapping while introducing enhancements to immersive audio performance and overall usability.

Key additions include:

• Redesigned interface: A new user interface streamlines daily operation, system configuration and calibration workflows, while retaining the platform’s flexibility.
• Upgraded immersive audio support: The update includes Trinnov’s latest versions of Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro and Auro-3D decoding, with features like Dolby Surround upmixing on wide channels.
• Platform enhancements: Behind-the-scenes architectural changes prepare the Altitude platform for future capabilities and ongoing sustainability.

The software will begin shipping on newly produced Altitude16 and Altitude32 units before the end of the year. It will roll out to existing installations through 2026, following validation and staging phases.
