SGM Lighting Names ACT Entertainment Exclusive US and Canadian Distributor for PALCO Wash Lights

SGM Lighting has announced a new distribution partnership with ACT Entertainment, making ACT the exclusive distributor for the company’s newly introduced PALCO Family of entertainment and touring wash lights in the United States and Canada. The agreement is effective immediately and marks a strategic expansion for SGM as it reasserts its presence in the entertainment lighting sector.

The PALCO Family represents SGM’s latest step forward in high-performance wash lighting for touring and live production. Following recent launches in the company’s POI architectural lighting range, the introduction of PALCO reinforces SGM’s commitment to advancing both entertainment and architectural product lines.

“The PALCO Family reflects SGM’s heritage of bold, high-performance solutions purpose-built for the demanding needs of touring and live production environments,” said Leif Orkelbog-Andresen, global sales director at SGM Lighting ApS. “Our partnership with ACT Entertainment ensures that our entertainment customers will experience unparalleled service, availability and support for this exciting new product line.”

ACT Entertainment will provide distribution, inventory, technical support and end-to-end service for the PALCO Family, leveraging its established infrastructure and industry expertise. The partnership also builds on ACT’s existing relationship with Ayrton — SGM’s sister brand under Golden Sea — expanding the company’s role within the broader portfolio.

Under the new arrangement, SGM’s current architectural and legacy entertainment products, including the P-6, Q-8, P-10 and the VPL series, along with the POI Family, will continue to be sold and supported through SGM’s existing agent and dealer network. Only the PALCO Family will be distributed exclusively through ACT.

SGM also confirmed that its agent network will retain access to the PALCO line through a cooperative model designed to maintain continuity for customers across the U.S. and Canada.
