Panasonic Projector & Display Americas and Panasonic Connect North America will demonstrate a range of visual and computing technologies designed for defense training and simulation environments at I/ITSEC 2025, held Dec. 1–4 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

The company will showcase its PT-REQ series of TAA-compliant laser projectors, engineered to support immersive simulation with high brightness and 4K resolution. The projectors are designed for environments including training classrooms and command-and-control centers, where clear, detailed visuals are required to meet government standards. Quad Pixel Drive technology supports smooth 4K images without visible pixel structure, while input-to-output latency of 6 milliseconds or less enables accurate rendering of fast motion.

Panasonic Connect will also highlight the role of TOUGHBOOK rugged laptops and tablets in defense simulation workflows. The devices are built to support applications ranging from flightline instruction to AI-enhanced training scenarios. According to Panasonic, TOUGHBOOK systems combine Intel Core processing, discreet GPU options, and field-swappable xPAKs to support high-fidelity simulation, logistics management and on-site adaptability. Additional features include built-in cybersecurity tools, all-day battery operation and MIL-spec durability.

Panasonic will further demonstrate its partnership with Igloo Vision through a 5-by-5-meter immersive space at its booth. The environment, designed for defense and government applications, features a floor-to-ceiling 360-degree projection setup powered by Igloo Core Engine software, PT-REQ projectors and TOUGHBOOK control devices. The installation is intended to support collaborative mission rehearsal, data visualization and scenario-based training while maintaining TAA compliance and TS/SCI security considerations.

“Life-like simulated training environments are critical to help defense professionals practice collaboration and decision-making,” said Taka Uchida, CEO of Panasonic Projector & Display Americas. “We’re proud to come together with our partners and showcase the latest developments in immersive, TAA-compliant tech that are bringing these environments to life.”
