Panasonic Powers Let’s Glow SF: Lighting Up San Francisco in Holiday Cheer
San Francisco recently celebrated the fifth annual Let’s Glow SF, the largest holiday projection mapping festival in the country. Projectors from Panasonic Projector & Display Americas illuminated eight landmark sites across Downtown San Francisco in dynamic works of art.
Now a holiday tradition for the city, the free 10-night festival held from December 5-14 brought the community together in celebration of art. Downtown buildings became canvases to highlight the work of local and international artists, giving community members the opportunity to appreciate new art and experience the buildings they encounter everyday in a new light.
In addition to being a visual spectacle, Let’s Glow SF is an economic driver for the community. The 2024 event brought in 87,000 visitors and generated $13.2 million in economic activity, highlighting the combined power of tech and art to bring communities together.
“At Panasonic Projector & Display Americas, we believe technology is only as powerful as the stories it enables. Let’s Glow SF 2025 is a vivid celebration of that belief, where our high-brightness, high-resolution projection systems transformed the architecture of San Francisco into immersive canvases filled with imagination and community spirit,” said Tim Morin, Product Engineering Manager, Panasonic Projector & Display Americas. “Each year the creativity grows, lighting up the city’s architecture and inspiring everyone who comes out to experience it. It was an honor to help bring that magic to life again in 2025.”
