LG Unveils LG MAGNIT ‘Active Micro LED’ Display

LG Electronics USA announced Dec. 9 that it will introduce its new LG MAGNIT Active Micro LED display to the U.S. market, with a public debut planned for CES 2026.
The display is designed for home cinema applications and uses Active-Matrix technology to provide individual pixel-level control, which LG says improves image clarity, depth and overall visual performance.
The LG MAGNIT Active Micro LED display measures 136 inches and delivers 4K Ultra HD resolution. It is powered by LG’s sixth-generation α9 AI Processor, which the company says optimizes image processing scene by scene in line with the creator’s intent. LG also said its proprietary surface treatment reduces the impact of ambient light, helping maintain image visibility in a variety of viewing environments.
The display supports AirPlay 2 and Miracast for wireless screen sharing from compatible devices. Built-in speakers provide surround sound with a total output of 100 watts, according to the company.
While positioned primarily for residential home theater installations, LG said the display is also suited for professional environments such as meeting and presentation spaces, citing its size, image quality and performance capabilities.
“With its impressive size that spans an entire wall in lifelike colors and stunning ultra-high-definition detail, the new LG MAGNIT Active Micro LED transforms a home into a true theater, delivering an unmatched cinematic experience,” said Michael Kosla, B2B senior vice president at LG Electronics USA.
