Legrand Launches Matter-Enabled Radiant Smart Lighting Collection
Legrand has released the second generation of its radiant Smart Lighting with Wi-Fi, now enabled with Matter, the interoperability standard designed to unify smart home ecosystems.
Each device in the new lineup is Matter-certified, allowing cross-brand compatibility across platforms such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home and Samsung SmartThings. Devices ship with unique Matter QR codes for simplified onboarding, requiring only a Matter-compatible hub.
Key features include remote smartphone and voice assistant control, local control when Wi-Fi is available (even without internet), and support for automations to improve safety and energy savings. The devices can be mixed with other non-connected products from the radiant collection for consistent design.
The new products also support Amazon’s Frustration-Free Setup with Alexa, which automatically connects devices purchased through Amazon to the user’s network when powered on.
