GV Multimedia scores a double-hit with Northern frameworks successes and welcomes Brian Davies as Development Director – Northern England
22 March 2016, Hounslow – GV Multimedia is delighted to have been awarded the NEUPC (North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium) tender for audio visual supply, system design, integration and maintenance for Lot 2 installations. Out of the eleven integrators on the framework, GV Multimedia was ranked number one in all disciplines. The integrator was informed of the ranking by the consortium as part of the award notice.
Winning the framework tender is a massive success for GV Multimedia’s operations in the North East region. Marking the first time in over ten years that the team has been included on the framework, the award means that GV Multimedia has been granted access to deal with all Higher Education establishments in the area that are part of the framework.
As with the rest of the UK’s higher education purchasing consortia, NEUPC was established to deliver and manage a wide range of collaborative framework agreements designed to maximise third party expenditure within the higher education sector. The consortium uses a partnering approach to provide collaborative procurement expertise and guidance to actively support members’ needs, values and objectives. Without this award, any supplier would be unable to tender for any projects concerning any of the consortium’s members. Prior to this award, GV Multimedia’s North East team has hit barriers with procurement in the North East due to not acquiring approved supplier status. Now granted the relevant status, the award should see an influx of tenders and quote requests.
Joanne Stewart, Senior Sales Executive of GV Multimedia’s North East team, said; “We are looking forward to the challenge of proving ourselves to our universities. We are well placed to help with their design needs and equipment requirements.”
The contract officially started on the 21st March 2016 and GV Multimedia is proud to have not only been awarded the tender but to be ranked number one out of all suppliers. The award understandably marks a huge success for Joanne and the North East team.
GV Multimedia’s Manchester-based North West team has also been successful in retaining the NWUPC (North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium) tender award. GV Multimedia’s success in the North will give the company significant opportunity for their organic growth to continue unabated.
In response to these awards, GV Multimedia is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Davies as GV Multimedia’s Development Director – Northern England, commencing on the 18th April.
GV Multimedia Chairman, Brian Abrahams, noted; “He brings with him an immense amount of technical expertise and experience in the industry and will certainly enhance GV’s technical capabilities and take advantage of the North East and North West framework arrangements for Higher Education.”
GV Multimedia would like to take the opportunity to congratulate GV Multimedia’s Northern branches on their success and to welcome Brian to the team.
