Dirac announced that its Dirac Live Active Room Treatment (ART), along with Dirac Live Room Correction and Dirac Live Bass Control, will be available in AudioControl’s new Hyperion line of home theater processors and receivers.

The first model to support Dirac Live ART is the APR-16, a 16-channel preamp processor scheduled for release in Q4 2025. Additional models, including the RCV-11 AV receiver and DPR-16 digital preamp processor, will follow later this year.

Dirac Live ART, launched in 2023, uses a system’s existing speakers to form a unified acoustic control network. Leveraging Dirac’s MIMO (multiple-input, multiple-output) technology, the solution is designed to reduce decay times and improve bass consistency across listening positions, even in untreated or asymmetrical rooms.

Dirac said the integration is aimed at home theater dealers, custom installers and advanced calibrators seeking to deliver improved sound performance through software-driven acoustics management.
