Christie Eclipse G3 Packs Six DLP Chips, 30,000 Lumens and HDR Color
Christie has introduced the Eclipse G3, a six-DLP projector designed for ultra-high-end home theaters, planetariums and themed attractions.
The Eclipse G3 delivers HDR color performance with a sequential contrast ratio of up to 20,000,000:1, which Christie said is 100 times the Rec. 2100 standard. The projector achieves approximately 98% of the Rec. 2020 color gamut, producing deep blacks, lifelike colors and enhanced detail in dark scenes.
The unit supports up to 120 Hz 2D playback and active 3D at 60 Hz per eye, both at native 4K resolution. With 30,000 ANSI lumens of brightness, the Eclipse G3 is specified to maintain full output for 50,000 hours.
Featuring integrated RGB pure laser illumination, the projector is built for durability and includes a streamlined form factor to simplify installation.
