CEDIA, the Association for Smart Home Professionals, announced that television host, designer and engineer Chip Wade will give the keynote address at the 2025 CEDIA Expo.

The session, titled Beyond the Blueprint: Where Innovation Meets Intention, will focus on creating purposeful spaces for builders, designers and integrators, balancing trends with timeless design, and fostering collaboration. Wade said he plans to share strategies to combine aesthetics, functionality and innovation, emphasizing adaptability and teamwork.

“There is something really special that can happen when the right mix of skill, professionalism and work ethic mix with a real passion for doing something exciting and worthwhile in a build project,” Wade said.

Wade, an Emmy Award-winning host and producer, has appeared on HGTV’s “Designed to Sell,” “Elbow Room,” “Curb Appeal: The Block,” “Design Star” and other programs, as well as on “Oprah,” “Rachael Ray,” The Weather Channel, Fox News, NBC and CNN. He is the owner and lead designer of Wade Works Creative, which provides design, architecture and production services.

The keynote is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 4, at 8 a.m. in Mile High Ballroom 2 in Denver.
