Ampetronic and Listen Technologies announced two promotions and a new hire as the aligned assistive listening brands continue expanding their joint portfolio and operations. The companies elevated David Serpa to vice president of finance and promoted Sam Burkinshaw to head of strategic business development and partnerships. They also hired Irene Kondos as global inside sales and customer success manager.

The leadership updates support the brands’ ongoing collaboration to combine assistive listening and communication solutions, including the jointly developed Auracast-based system Auri. The companies say these personnel moves strengthen their ability to advance audio accessibility and support partners worldwide.

Serpa will oversee financial strategy, forecasting and long-term planning, working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams. He previously served as financial controller at Listen Technologies. “David leads with confidence, insight, and impact. He anticipates what the business needs next, simplifies complexity, and has built trust across the organization,” said Maile Keone, president and CEO of Ampetronic | Listen Technologies.

Burkinshaw will guide go-to-market strategy, product evolution and partnership development. He previously served as head of business development. “Sam has done an exceptional job building the bridge between strategic business development and marketing, creating meaningful market engagement that fuels growth and opportunity,” said Kim Franklin, chief marketing officer.

Kondos will support global sales efforts, partner engagement and customer experience. She previously worked in the language industry, where she used and recommended Listen Technologies solutions for interpretation and distribution needs. “Irene has a record of success leading international inside sales teams and delighting customers with solutions that enable communication,” said Martin French, vice president of global sales.
