Olibra and Chowmainsoft Release Bond Bridge Driver for Crestron Home
Olibra and Chowmainsoft have introduced a Bond Bridge driver for Crestron Home, expanding integration of Bond products within the Crestron ecosystem.
The driver enables two-way control and feedback for a range of 350–450 MHz RF devices, including ceiling fans, blinds, shades and fireplaces. It supports Bond Bridge, Bond Bridge Pro and other Bond-enabled devices, providing low-latency communication designed for professional installations.
Bond Bridge is positioned as a consumer-grade RF gateway for retrofitting fans, blinds and similar devices, while Bond Bridge Pro offers extended RF range, Power over Ethernet support and capacity for up to 50 devices.
Key features of the driver include two-way state synchronization with the Bond app, event triggers for automation, macro creation without manual delays, and support for shades, fans, lights, fireplaces and relay/switch devices. The integration can appear as native Crestron Home lighting or be accessed through custom UI controls.
